In 2022, Mrs. M and her daughter, A, began attending children’s English classes at Nagoya Central Church. Mrs. M noticed my artwork on the church walls, and the biblical themes in the exhibition caught her attention and stirred her curiosity about Christianity. That curiosity led them to a workshop at Gallery nani on the theme of joy and peace. In that creative space, a young Japanese believer shared her faith with them. The conversations continued during a second visit to the gallery for the Christmas exhibition, and Mrs. M’s interest in the Bible deepened. Soon, Mrs. M and A began attending Sunday services and Bible studies at the church. God worked through Gallery nani to open the doors for faith and in May 2025, after two years of further learning and seeking, they were baptized.

This summer, Mrs. M brought her husband and daughter to our event called "Women of the Bible." Summer interns gave presentations and performances about God’s Word. This man learned more about his wife's and daughter's faith because he felt comfortable in the gallery. It was his very first time to a Christian-led event. We are grateful for how God is working through Gallery nani to bring Japanese in touch with God’s Word and God’s people.
